The Baileigh BS-712MS band saw is one of the most versatile horizontal bandsaws on the market. The design includes a heavy-duty cast iron swivel head to do its mitering, instead of the vise. This feature allows for faster production times and less waste. The machine also features wheels to make it portable. The BS-712MS can be run in the traditional horizontal position for general cut offs, or in a vertical position by just lifting the bow and locking it in place, for doing precise shape cutting (this is extremely important when space is at a premium). The best part is that in the horizontal position, the horizontal and vertical bandsaw has a 7-inch OD round and a 7-inch x 10.25-inch rectangle capacity. The head and bow of this horizontal and vertical bandsaw are made from heavy-duty cast iron that has been precisely machined to exacting tolerances, to ensure proper alignment is maintained during the cutting process. A pair of adjustable guides attached to the heavy-duty head, along with eight sealed ball bearings, help to align and increase the life of the blade.
