The Baileigh BS-712M Bandsaw can be run in the traditional horizontal position for general cut offs, or in the vertical position (by just lifting the bow and locking it in place), for precise shape cutting. Powered by 120 volts, this do all machine can be used anywhere, and include wheels for portability. But, just because it is portable doesn't mean that it can't cut large capacity. This metal-cutting band saw has a 7-inch OD round and a 7-inch by 10.25-inch rectangle capacity. Mitering can also be done easily on this bandsaw just by loosening the vise and rotating it to the proper angle. The head and bow are made from heavy duty cast iron that has been precisely machined to exacting tolerances to ensure proper alignment is maintained during the cutting process. A pair of adjustable guides attached to the heavy duty head, along with eight sealed ball bearings, help align and increase the life of the blade. Add a chip removal brush and a flood coolant system to this bandsaw, and you have one great package.
